Therapeutic Equine Program

DECU 2025 Charity of the Year

Decatur, Illinois

Freedom Reins serves students of all ages and abilities, with a special emphasis and curriculum designed to empower individuals with traumas and disabilities, by providing opportunities to interact with therapy horses through EAAT, fostering growth and healing within a faith-based community.

Freedom Reins is our Adaptive Equine Program which serves our beautiful, special needs kids. We serve children, ages five through adulthood, with a variety of special needs including, but not limited to, Downs Syndrome, Cerebral Palsy, Autism, ADHD, and other physical or neurological disabilities. One does not have to have a special needs diagnosis to benefit from EAAT. Children and adults are all invited to lesson within our EAAT program.
